PU, marble, or MDF for skirting in Dubai?

PU is our usual spec: light, paint-ready, and matched to wall moulding. Marble may stay if it is sound and you still like it. MDF and wood swell in Gulf humidity and mop water; they are not the default we specify for coastal towers or hard-mopped floors.

Can you match new PU skirting to wall moulding I already have?

Yes. Send a photo of the existing profile with the floor-line shots. We bring PU samples to the villa or you can stand them against your phone photo at Dragon Mart Complex 2, Shop G-C-22.

Is skirting the same as wall moulding?

Skirting is the floor-line trim. Wall moulding covers chair rail, wainscoting, crown, and panel grids higher on the wall. Same crew can do both; this page is for the floor line. See the wall moulding Dubai page for feature walls and panelling.

Do you remove old marble or swollen MDF skirting?

Uplift can be included when the old line has to go. If marble still covers the tile gap and you like the stone, leaving it is an allowed answer. We confirm on the free visit.
