Cornice Dubai: the ceiling-line finish
The join between wall and ceiling is where hairline cracks collect and where a plain room starts to look finished. A fitted cornice covers that crack line for good, frames the ceiling, and is the difference you notice walking into a majlis or a double-height hall.

PU cornice vs wet gypsum runs
Gypsum cornice is run wet on site: heavy, slow, and brittle through building movement. PU profiles arrive moulded and pre-primed, fix with adhesive, and hold a crisp line through years of AC cycling. For ornate classical ceilings we will tell you honestly if gypsum is the right answer; for most Dubai rooms PU is faster and stays closed at the joints.
LED cove prep
A cove profile leaves a stepped channel behind the cornice so an LED strip washes the ceiling without showing the light source. We fit the profile and set the channel on the visit; the electrician connects strip and driver as part of the same job if you want one crew to finish.
Matching profiles already in the room
New cornice reads against the skirting, chair rail, and door trim already there. We short-list profiles on the site visit against photos or a sample, so the ceiling line does not fight the rest of the room. Samples are on the wall at Dragon Mart Complex 2, Shop G-C-22.
